Pool Cage Cleaning in Coral Springs, FL
Soft washing for screened pool enclosures, without tearing the screen.
A screened pool cage is built to keep bugs and debris out, but the aluminum frame and mesh screen take a beating from Florida weather. Algae streaks down the panels, and the aluminum framing can develop rust stains where screws and joints meet, especially near the coast.
Pool cages need a different technique than almost anything else we clean. Too much pressure tears the screen or bends the framing, so we soft wash the panels, working section by section, and treat rust spots on the aluminum separately from the screen itself.
Done right, a pool cage cleaning takes years of grime and streaking off without putting a single hole in the screen.
How we clean it
A cleaning solution is applied to the screens and frame at low pressure and rinsed from the top down, so dirty runoff isn't left on panels that are already clean.
Rust and oxidation on the aluminum frame are treated as a separate step from cleaning the screen. The pool deck underneath can be cleaned the same visit; see pool deck cleaning.

What to expect
Cleaning removes algae, dirt and most black streaks from screens and framing. Screens that are already brittle or sun-damaged may show more wear once they're clean, and cleaning won't fix torn mesh or loose panels; that's rescreening, a separate job. Pitted or chalky aluminum will look better but won't look new.
Why it's worth doing right
Pool cages take the brunt of Florida's sun, rain and salt air, and most homeowners never get them cleaned simply because it feels like a hard surface to tackle safely. The risk with doing it yourself, or hiring someone without the right technique, is tearing the screen or warping the frame with too much pressure. Done correctly, a cage cleaning restores visibility and curb appeal without putting the enclosure at risk.
Common questions
Pool Cage Cleaning FAQ
Will pressure washing tear my pool screen?
Standard pressure washing can, which is why we soft wash cages instead. The lower pressure cleans the mesh without the force that causes tears or blown-out panels.
Can you fix rust stains on the aluminum frame?
We treat rust and oxidation on the frame as a separate step from the screen cleaning, using a method suited to aluminum so it doesn't damage the finish.
